Leigh Anne Buyon received her master’s degree, with distinction in Holistic Health from Georgian Court University in 2008, and has been practicing as a wellness consultant and educator since.

While at GCU, Leigh Anne was a recipient of the Charlotte Newcombe Scholarship. Her courses in graduate school included Homeopathy, Native American Medicine, Herbalism, Energy Medicine, Spirituality, Stress Management, and her thesis was on the emotion of anger as experienced by women. She also holds a bachelor of arts degree in English Language and Literature from Boston University.

Leigh Anne is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher since June 2010 and she delves deeply into the waters of meditation, Yin Yoga, Ayurveda, and  philosophy. Leigh Anne currently teaches several classes a week.

Leigh Anne is an adjunct lecturer at Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ where she teaches the Theory and Practice of Yoga and Moving Toward Balance with Ayurveda.

Leigh Anne has also trained in martial arts for more than eight years and holds a black belt, first degree in Tae Kwon Do, and has studied Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi. 

She is an avid gardener who enjoys taking photographs, writing poetry and reading lots of  books  about a multitude of subjects.  

A lifelong student of literature and philosophy, Leigh Anne is always exploring eastern systems of health and the eastern perspective on the workings of the mind.  Her consulting work with clients incorporates loving-kindness and wisdom with modern-day, peer-reviewed clinical research.
